Sub-Tags
There are three non-categorized sub-tags for chapters and posts when creating them. Please use them when appropriate.
The Private tag is used for a forked chapter where characters have a private moment away from the main group events. These private conversations/events are relatively short in duration, and then the characters return to their main chapter, joining it at the time they return. They could be having a conversation, an argument, a romantic moment, a past flashback together, etc. A private scene does not need the same title as the chapter they are part of, but it must include the Private tag. Indicate in a note which characters this private chapter is for. If a chapter is marked with the Private tag, no other characters can join this topic. It is important to be courteous of each other, and always use OOC to discuss if other players know things that happened in a private chapter. While players can read private topics, their characters should not know the events of this unless they were given permission to know.
NSFW tag is a topic marker which means this post is not safe for work/public viewing. These posts will have content describing extremely violent scenes and/or adult content. All players must use this tag for any post that contains these elements. This tag can be included with any chapter and the Private tag. To mark replies with the tag, simply type the hashtag #NSFT on its own line at the beginning of your post. This lets players know that this post may have inappropriate content that one should not read in public.
Solo tag marks chapters for when players want their character to split temporarily from the main group to adventure alone. Much like the Private scene, its chapter title does not need to be the same, and it is meant to be a temporary departure from the character’s chapter they are participating in. Perhaps they split off from the main group for a bit to take care of ‘business’. Maybe they leave to study or train. Maybe they go to bed early and have a dream. While solo adventures are perfectly okay, players cannot stay in a solo adventure entirely. You will need to return to the chapter you were participating in, not where you left off but where the other characters are currently in the story (or wait for them to catch up to your time). If you decide to leave the chapter you were participating in to do some solo adventuring you need to let players in that chapter know first, so they don’t anticipate your return or wait for you. Complete your solo adventure, then you can start a new chapter that is open to all players, or join some other existing chapter. While players can read others' solo adventures, characters should not know the events of this chapter unless deemed okay by the player.
