Divine magic is magic given by a god. A person can only have one divine magic. If a magus receives a blessing, it will lose some prior magic, as a body can only form so many paths to magic types.
Those who gain access to magic through a god use it in the same way a magus does. If they lose their blessing, they lose the ability to cast, as if it never existed. Divine magic use will suffer the exact effects of magi-drain or magi-burn if abused.
Just as some Esoteric magics don’t mix, so do the same magics not mix between gods.
Those who gained their magic this way automatically gain Spirit magic through their God. Some gods also grant latent magic.
Those given a blessing can gain it in one of three ways - they are born with it, gained it through worship, or are oath-bound.
Worship
This is the most common form of blessing from a god. A god may bless their devoted worshipers, who are not a magus. Each god may have thousands who are devout, and perhaps only seven out of the thousand will gain a blessing. Some gods have more expectations and guidelines for those they grant their abilities to, others have few, and some genuinely have none and let their followers do as they please. It depends on the god and their whims. While it is rare for a god to revoke their blessing, it can happen. This could be a test of their faith. Maybe they angered their god, or they purposefully forsook them. Whatever the reason, a person might regain their god’s favor through devotion and time. However, many have spent their lifetime trying to regain their god’s favor.
Oath-bound
Uncommon type. A god approached the oath-bound via a vision, a voice, spirit form, rarely their physical form, and offered a blessing - at a cost. The god does something for them, and they must repay their favor. This blessing is a contract and grants specific powers to this individual based on an agreement. It could be one of the god’s magic types, one of their innate abilities, or all of them - contracts will vary. This cost is usually servitude, to act in the world on the god’s behalf. Unlike worshipers, these individuals do not have to worship the god or even have the same moral compass as the god. However, an oath-bound will lose their blessing if they break their agreement with the god who created it. Some agreements may do more than just take the blessing away for failure and could even end the oath-bound’s life if they do not complete their contract. Bael typically grants oath-bound blessings vs worship, as do Gohaog and Hevathrin. Evithanon, Molrivath, and Dracentaru are the only gods who cannot offer oath-bound blessings.
Born
Rarest type. Those born with a blessing are exceedingly rare, as a god can only perform a few blessings every century. The god can’t take the blessing away, nor will the individual be able to get rid of it by any means, and will have the blessing until they die. Whatever magic they may have had gets overwritten by their god’s blessing. This also allows the god to pull strings and direct this individual in mysterious ways. Most gods won’t don’t do this type of blessing, because it is a gamble and could work against them.

Sevius - Blight, Water, Earth. Servius’ devotees are also immune to *most forms of toxin - venom, poisons, etc. All devotees will have a poisonous serpent familiar that will not leave their person. Should these individuals forsake Servius, the serpent familiar will also attempt to kill them with the deadly venom they are no longer immune to.
